The Studio is located on the second floor, stairs or elevator access available.

Set up and clean up time is part of the rental time. Additional time before or after is not permitted in order to keep the space available for other rentals. The studio must be left as it is found by renters with the door locked.

This should be fairly self-explanatory, but for insurance purposes, building guidelines and to keep everyone who uses East Fifth Studio safe, no smoking of any kind (including vaping) or any open flames (including candles) will be allowed.

To keep the space clean, no pets or live animals are permitted. Service pets are allowed.

Please help us all keep our sanity - your cooperation is appreciated!

Adhesive material of any kind is not allowed to be used on the walls or backdrops.

No loud and overpowering noise/music. Please be respectful to other building tenets.

There is metered street parking out front of the building where the studio is located.

Currently we are only offering rental of the space for photography and other creative uses. If you are interested in using the space for a workshop, please contact us.

The studio has west facing windows that allow for beautiful natural light, especially in the afternoon. We do not have any artificial lights to use at this time. If you are wanting any off-camera lighting, you will be responsible to bring for your use.

Seamless backdrops and chairs are available for use with rental of the studio space, along with some studio equipment. Additional items are available at an extra cost and can be added on when booking. To see all available items, visit our Backdrops, Props & Equipment page.
